Okay so summer in the North Country is short and so is the semester. This is one conversation we did not have this semester...a fairly new application that brings up all kinds of wonderful ethical and legal issues as well as opening up a whole new world of possibilities. Somewhere Over the Rainbow

This was a gift that I received on the way home last week. Rainbows always look better in person than on film. I'm just finishing the book "Wicked The Life & Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire so this post is apropos. I wanted to add an MP3 of Johnny Mathis and Ray Charles singing the song, but that would be very very illegal. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Thanks and gratitude for firemen/women

Yesterday there was a 6-alarm fire in four buildings across the street from the CCV site in St Johnsbury. No one was seriously injured. Nine families are homeless. Several businesses affected. I'm giving thanks and gratitude to firefighters today... while I work on my mid-semester evaluations.
